This past weekend, Rich and I took a jaunt to Hampton Beach, NH. I think we’ve found “our” new spot!!!! Just two hours from home, the shore was gorgeous (SO gorgeous that I forgot to take a picture!). We found a new restaurant that was scrumptious and all diets were “off” for this weekend (whoohoo!). One of Rich’s favorite things is deep sea fishing, so we caught a boat on Saturday out of Rye, NH to go after some blue fish. It was COLD on the boat that morning. Good thing we brought soo many clothes; we wore almost all of them on the boat! I could barely move underneath my yellow rubber coat and overalls. We did not catch any fish but others on the boat did (see fish below).
Many thanks to Rich’s mom and grandmother for watching the kids during the days, and the Gasiorowski’s for watching them at night! The kids had as much fun as we!

Great pictures of Anna and Captain Rich.
Really - he looks like a sea captain - very at home on that boat!
Glad you had a great weekend - and that you didn’t freeze!

Yes, I agree Catherine. He really makes me hum the song.. “Downeaster Alexa” by Billy Joel. Blast from the past. Hey, I love that bearded, sexy guy. :^) (Rich, not Billy!) It is cool to see Rich soooo loving deep sea fishing up close (it was my first time going w/him). As you can imagine, cold & Dramamine-drugged, in 6 layers of clothing on a boat waiting for a fish to give me one more thing to do (clean it), is not an activity I personally invented :^). I enjoyed it greatly anyway b/c of Rich and we had a ton of fun. We’ll go again for sure!

Cool song - I don’t think I’ve heard it before.
I can so relate to how sleepy you felt on the Drammine. Had to take it last summer so we could leave our friends, the Sturdys, house, cuz I had a migraine that was making me totally sick. Then, 2 hours later we got to Charlottesville, VA, where a Whole Foods is and I needed to do grocery shopping. It was like walking in a dream-world! (I’m glad you didn’t fall off boat in that state!)
I’m glad Rich had fun fishing. Did he have to take Drammine, too?

He did take it, but wasn’t sleepy! He weighs more than me (SO FAR.. LOL.. better get back to that diet soon..) so maybe that was it. We took two each. I think the excitement of deep sea fishing is enough to keep him awake anyway b/c he REALLY loves it so much
Last time he went d.s.fishing w/some friends he got super sick for the first time so he took it just in case. He probably didn’t need it as the water was not bad at all and he normally does not get sick.
Re. the Dramamine: I have been walking in a dream world for a while.. lol.. it’s all the same to me! haha jus kiddin
