I love this!!!! You are really good at this stuff, and I am so thankful you are one of our kids’ Sunday School teachers. Keep up the good work. A harvest of continued fruit awaits :^) and in the process you inspire others with specific ideas. I remember you setting the stage for this with Nehemiah in all the ways you were training him even as a baby. Thank you for this encouragement!

Thanks for the info! I will have to get those when Nehemiah is 4 or so. Right now we are going through his children’s Bible. Last night we read about Josiah finding the scriptures and reading God’s law and we made our own scroll- he was totally into it. It’s amazing how much you can do with a 2 year old. He loves praying and learning about God and Jesus. I’ll have to start planning for when he can do more.

thanks, avary. i just edited some of it.. wanted to be sure that we transmitted that it is about a system of teaching through the pure Word, not a resource to replace the Word in any way. keep knitting, avary! i am living vicariously through you — i am dying to knit something! (i am a bad knitter but i enjoy it :)) can’t wait to meet your precious boy…

I’m so excited that you have chosen to blog about training children since I’m in the beginning stages. Thank you for showing how God has allowed you to teach His Word (through various resources) to your children.
