Anna

Rich and Lydia want to write this page so what I have written here will be changed shortly. Meanwhile, I am Rich’s wife,  and a stay-at-home, homeschooling Mom.  I love taking care of Rich and our five outrageous children, spending time with people, reading, cooking, eating, and drinking coffee.  I am crazy about vintage Land Rovers and like the color orange. Running is one of my favorite things of all.  I am not fast.  In 2007  I ran 2 marathons (my 2nd and 3rd) and a shorter race, and was thankful I got to do that.  However, lately, I have not been able to run at all and am really out of shape due to a foot injury that has left me an.. uh.. over-developed pile of something on the floor.  I hope to get back soon.

In a very unplanned way, our family has been immersed in the adoption world for over nine years now, starting with our own adoptions. I would say that God has used the joys and challenges of adopting non-infant children for the greatest good & growth in our lives.  He’s given us three of our children through the avenue of adoption and we think it’s great (and no, we have no idea whether or not we will adopt again.. definitely open to it, but we are also content and too busy to give it much thought yet!). So far, only one of our adoptions has been planned ahead of time by us! It’s been a cool little deal that the Lord has done, despite us, believe me.

I enjoy learning how to accomplish more during our short stay on planet Earth and this is on my mind a great deal lately. I know many of you can relate to the constant pull I feel between the temporary and the eternal, and it is a daily effort. Life is short. We want to do things that truly matter & pour out our lives in a way that impacts those around us for the glory of God, pulling people out of a “futile way of life,” which is where we all start out until Jesus Christ changes our hearts and lives by His grace.   Because He died for me on the cross, in my place, for my sins, I want to live passionately and intentionally for His glory, and to learn more and more how to do that.   ^^THIS IS MOM’S DOG, COACH^^  ^^THIS IS NOT MOM’S LAND ROVER^^^^THIS IS NOT MOM’S LAND ROVER EITHER^^ ^^THIS WON’T BE MOM’S LAND ROVER^^  ^^THIS WONT EVER BE MOM’S LAND ROVER^^
