Lydia Rose

Lydia’s favorite hymn.

I finally convinced my mom to let me write this page.  Woohoo!!

I’m 15 years old (finally… drivers’ ed, here I come!) and I’m in 10th grade with a little bit of 11th mixed in.  I’m the eldest in my family (proud of it) and I love all the little kids in my family.  I am 5′10″ (yes, ’tis true) and am NOT proud of it.  I’m taller than a lot of people… and then I love high heels.  =P  My mom claims that I am sedentary and visual, as you may have noticed in our little discussion on the comments section of the post about my secretary work.  I admit, I’m both.  But I’m not when I don’t want to… =P  You can make me climb in a tree house, IF there are no mosquitoes.  =D

I am planning to become a nurse practitioner and go to Africa.  I’m waiting for my Prince Charming *looks around wonderingly* and hopefully I’ll get married and have kids… I’m planning on having 18, so any of you interested young men out there better get a well paying job.  I kind of have a fairytale dream of becoming the nation’s number one undercover agent for the FBI.  Mysteries thrill me.  I devour them by the hour, particularily the Hardy Boys and Sherlock Holmes.  I think that the younger and more innocent the investigator is, the better crimes can be solved.  I could pose at a diner as a waitress much better than a 30-year-old detective… but yeah, I could go on and on about it, but I’ll stop bugging you with my plans to save the world from crime… which probably would never happen.  HA!

Some of my other interests are music (listening to and playing), watching movies with my sisters (the Jane Austin movies are particular favorites), babysitting (call me up sometime and I may do it for free!!!  =D), hanging out with friends, talking on the phone, and doing weird things on the computer.  OH!  And how could I forget: I love to write.  Right now, I’m writing a book sequel to the Lord of the Rings.  It’ll be the best-seller sooner or later… I hope.  =D  I’ve been working for a couple years at it, but I haven’t really completed a whole entire chapter yet.  Just the bits and pieces.

Well, I have used up enough of your time for my gabbing.  Enjoy the pictures below… I look like I have a bushy mane

  1. Hey Lydia, When did you leave for Honduras? I just came back from Guatemala and I am spiritually high, and loving it. If you are there right now or allready back just e-mail my mom and we can communicate via e-mail. I haven’t talked to you since 2008 when we took the PSAT’s and man am I glad that that is over. But now I am going to do SAT’s in June. Write soon. Remi
